eBay launched its first-ever rewards program today called eBay Bucks. The program is free and open to all US eBay users. In a nutshell, eBay Bucks offers consumers 2% back on most items purchased through the eBay Marketplace with PayPal. If you haven’t already, you can sign up for the eBay Bucks rewards program, today.
I sat down with Marc Steffens, Sr. Manager of eBay Bucks Rewards Program, to discuss the launch and what it means for buyers and sellers. (You can also read more in his eBay Announcement Board post).
eBay Bucks Highlights:
** Once consumers enroll, each qualifying purchase will automatically earn eBay Bucks which accumulate during each calendar quarter, or every three months. A certificate is then issued and consumers have 30 days to redeem their eBay Bucks towards purchases with PayPal on eBay.com.** eBay Bucks delivers an industry-leading site experience: the earnings follow the customer around the site and when it’s time to redeem, rewards are automatically applied to the next purchase.
** The eBay Bucks Rewards Program is for transactions on eBay.com and for US residents only.
Cheers,
RBH
